A week in the life - Sunday

My week is done! So many pictures to go through and chose from. I am doing Project life, a picture a day, for the third year so I'm pretty used to bringing my camera everywhere and taking pictures at everyday things so this wasn't a revolutionary thing for me. I would have taken pictures every day no matter what and since we're on vacation probably almost as many each day too but I'm still happy I did A week in the life. It's been a nice way to document our stay with my father in law in a more detailed way. I think I'll try this another time, maybe this winter and then when we're home, working and really living our everyday life. That would be interesting.
Looking forward to put it all together but as we won't be home for another ten days I probably won't be finishing it up next week. Looking forward to see what you all will do with your pictures and journaling though.

Here's my Sunday pictures, finally a sunny day, spent on the beach.

A week in the life - Saturday

Today we had a huge family gathering so due to other people's privacy I can't show most of my photos so it will have to do with a few of me and my children. .

A week in the life - Friday

Here's my pictures for Friday. I can't believe the week is almost done! A very hectic day tomorrow so I have to work on taking time to pull out the camera. Good night you all!

A week in the life - Thursday

Another day of travel, lots of packing and driving. It was kind of hard not to repeat the pictures I took Monday but I figure I got most of our driving routines down then so that's ok. It's late here but I need to fill out the pdf sheet so I don't forget any details of the day.
I have to admit I assembled my Monday pages in the album last night. Just had to try it and I like how it looks, just not sure of how to include stuff i collected and some extra photos in my last page of each day. I'm not showing it yet as it's not finished but it's cool to have a glimpse of what it will look like when it's done. Looking forward to document the last three days as we will be in one place, with just us and my father in law. It's been interesting to take pictures these hectic days but it will be nice to show some down time as well.

A week in the life - Wednesday

Another day with guests, then some shopping for our trip to my father in law and now it's time for dinner and then to put the kids to bed before my husband and I get serious about packing. My biggest problem is that I would like to pack scrapbooking stuff to be able to finish up the album next week but I don't think that's possible.
I love the pdf sheets Ali shared on her blog! I fill them out and will includ them as they are in the album. I think I've decided on how to document every day but feel I need to try it out before I know if it's doable. I have plenty of pictures for each day (I've taken more then 100/day) but have not found much other fun stuff to include. I might ask the kids to contribute, I'm sure they will find all sorts of things to add.

A week in the life - Tuesday

So many of you are taking absolutely beautiful pictures! I don't but that's ok, it's just not doable this week. We're either in the car, having in laws staying with us or staying in other people's home. So there's really no time to set the self timer, plan on taking picture in great light or asking people to pose. I'll snap pictures with my cellphone or our point and shoot camera and it will have to do.

On Tuesday I went to the doctors (wish I'd had the guts to take a picture in the actual room because it was hilarious but I'm way too shy to ask for that) and then we did some errands before my mother in law, brother in law and his girlfriend came to visit us. Our daughter had not met BIL before (she's been with us less than a year and they live far away) and was very shy but warmed up to him in the evening. Love the picture where she finally was brave enough to climb up on his lap.
Right before I went to bed I remembered I was not on any of the pictures this day and snapped this self portrait in the bathroom mirror. Not a very happy picture, haha, but I'll include it anyway.
